Team Ava

Meet sweet 14-year-old Ava and her amazing family, Team Ava. They are the kindest bunch. We met them on Christmas Day during our visit to the hospital and Aidan decided to highlight Ava for the game in Dallas.

Matthew 17:20 reads:

He replied, "Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

Ava and her family welcomed us in their space with open arms, we shared a lot of laughter, and bonded over many similarities including competitive dance—the sport the bonded us three Hutchinson siblings when we were kids!

Ava's story:

In May of 2019, 9-year-old Ava was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor, atypical teratoid/rhabdoid tumor (AT/RT). Then in April of 2023 at the age of 13 years old, Ava was diagnosed with T Cell Lymphoma.

Besides the basic qualities of a pediatric cancer patient—brave, strong, inspiring, warrior, fighter—Ava has a heart of gold! She is a great friend and is the sweetest human I know. But we also can’t forget her great sense of humor! She loves to laugh and is often silly. She is very quick witted. Her family means the world to her, especially her sister Kaitlyn. Her personality touches everyone she knows!

Her interest include playing (basketball and soccer) and watching sports, hanging with her friends, her two dogs Koa and Charley, loves rollercoasters, being with family, watching movies, and shopping! She is a Michigan and Lions fan.

Please keep Ava and her family in your prayers🩵 also kindly consider donating to her GoFundMe, link below:
